Nicholas Custom Homes, incorporated in 1988, is a custom home builder and developer in Denver Co. Currently, the company is involved in multiple remodels and new construction custom home projects in Denver, Cherry Hills Village and the Fox Hill community in Franktown.
Previous work has included: Construction of over 170 projects throughout metro Denver. Projects consisted of the construction and/or remodel of single family homes for clients and our own portfolio. Our primary business model is Design/Build where we work with the client and our (or their) architect thru the design, estimating and construction to ensure a design that works within the budget and design parameters. The prices ranged from 400k to over 6M. From 1995-2008 the company focused primarily on high-end projects in Cherry Hills Village and Castle Pines Village. Many projects were in Old Cherry Hills and were designed and constructed utilizing period correct architecture and detailing.
The Principal of the company is Robert Nettleton who has a degree in Architecture from The University of Virginia. Prior to the formation of the company Mr. Nettleton worked for Regional and National Builders starting as a Field Superintendent moving into Construction and General Management. These companies, under his management, built hundreds of single-family homes, as well as condo and apartment developments. Robert and his son, Nick are now partnering together to expand the Nicholas Custom Home business further into Douglas County including the Fox Hill and neighboring Castle Rock communities
